VOLUNTEER
Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering with us.
The Sutherland Shire Refugee Connection depends on our wonderful volunteers to help our connections function and grow.
We are looking for volunteers to assist with keeping our organisation running, such as fundraising, promotion, recruiting more volunteers and administration.
We are also looking for volunteers to assist our participants with:

seeking employment
-
practising English
-
finding housing and settling into a new home (e.g. getting furniture, where to purchase groceries, setting up utility accounts)
-
enrolling in and assistance with school, TAFE, and education
-
access to shops, public transport and place of worship (if applicable)
-
building a social network and a sense of community (attending community events), and feeling a sense of belonging and inclusion.
